We entered "longest runner bean" and "heaviest marrow" at the village produce show and didn't win either. I think I'd have had a better chance in the "creature made out of vegetables" category, but you had to be under 12 to enter. Spoilsports! I don't think I could have outdone this snazzy courgette penguin anyway. I came home with a Victoria Sandwich and a red cabbage.
