One of Jak and Lana's favourite activies while staying with us has been going to the field to feed the hens and check for eggs and to pick things from the "vegetable farm" (their term for it; it's more of a patch than a farm). Here they are setting off with Mac and the dogs. I gave them the old Easter Egg hunt baskets to use for collecting their harvest. They came back with lots of Brussels sprouts for pretend Christmas dinner and another giant mutant radish monster (if you have ever read the folk tale, The Enormous Turnip, it could well have been inspired by our radishes).
