The upside of Winter by helenmoss

The upside of Winter

Yesterday the weather was November at its dreariest; twenty-four hours of unremitting rain. Today was the upside of Winter: cold and crisp and clear. It was a pleasure to take the dogs out for their walk (twice) and to go for a run (five miles today - the sun was shining and it was so pretty along the backs that it didn't feel that far). This was the winty view from the fields on this afternoon's dog walk - there was a perfect little white crescent of moon beneath the wires, although it's hard to see in the photo. In other news, Mac is stuck on the M25 on the way home from China, Ed has written a lovely personal statement for uni (even if I am a little biased), Will has been asked to be Father Christmas for Santa's grotto at the school Christmas bazaar, and I'm hoping my legs hold up for badminton tonight after the run. Now it's time to light the fire . . .
Perfect timing, great lines in the sky and beautiful colors

Love the picture. Hope you have a large fireplace to curl up in with the fire lit.
