It's been a week of travelling for school visits. Tuesday was Norwich, Friday, a day with Year 3s at a lovely school in Liverpool. I travelled up on Thursday afternoon, to arrive in the teeth of swirling gales. I had time for a visit to the World Museum to admire the amazing Fejérváry-Mayer Codex - it's Aztec rather than Mayan, but still fascinating, now that I'm immersed in everything Mayan for the next Secrets of the Tombs book.
I'd love to visit Liverpool again - haven't been in years and since then it's changed hugely. I want to visit the fire/police/navy museums to see what my ancestors were up to.
