Storm Brian was doing his best to put us off with his blustery breezes and squally showers, but we are made of stronger stuff. As are the beautiful four hundred year old Spanish Chestnuts. A lovely walk at Croft Castle with Mum and Dad (Dad and Mac are busy checking for any stray bits of interesting wood for their lathes). We needed the walk to balance out all the scoffing we packed in.
