Seeds on Wax Myrtle

I think I will have lots of young Wax Myrtle trees sprouting in the Spring, unless the birds get to the seeds first.
Lovely shot, Henri.

I've never seen (or heard of) a wax myrtle tree - it looks really interesting. I will have to look this up.

I feel the same way about all the seeds from my magnolia, but not one tree grows from those seeds!

Nice DoF and capture of the cool seeds. They do look like something birds would enjoy.

Nature will take care of it. looks after the birds, the new seedlings nerxt year and also fertilizing the plant.

They look so interesting. The birds may come but you never know as all it takes is one seed to take root...
