scissors

After seeing @jackies365 photo today of all her scissors, I thought surely I could find 7 ways to photograph scissors, but it is harder than I thought, so we will see if I change subjects tomorrow.

Anyway here is today photo of a minimalist (not sure it really qualifies) in black and white for the flash of red month.

@jackies365 Thanks for the inspiration for scissors.

I mentioned to @vignouse that I hadn't realized it was suppose to be the same subject and I was doing mine on various kitchen items. Well he says kitchen items are the same subject = so maybe cutting things or sewing things can be your subject.

This works well in B&W... and Joan's suggestion is a good one!

Maybe scissors in action, being sharpened, macro abstract, just a thought.

Good start Henri! You are not obligated to do everything exactly that way it is presented on the weekly post. Do what works best for you. This should be fun and not a chore. So broaden it, change up the subject, whatever works for you. A minimalist approach to this subject would involve showing even less of the scissors- perhaps featuring one small part like the handle or the tips of the blades. But others would consider this to be minimal. I lean towards that view. I think it's a good start to the week!

@joansmor @vignouse @radiogirl @bkbinthecity @grammyn @joysabin @ludwigsdiana @rhernan @yorkshirekiwi @pcoulson @jamibann @mittens @carolmw @olivetreeann @beryl

Thank you all for your NICE comments and suggestions. I realize it is not minimalist at all, and it is really a terrible photo ā€¦ and of all things, y'all put it on the PP. It just shows that anything can make the PP. I look at the excellent photos on the PP and I am embarrassed to see this along side of them. Y'all are he greatest followers ever. Thank you all so much/
