More scissors

This is the best I got today, and I spent a lot of time on it...which didn't help much. I think it just kept getting worse. So, this is my effort today. I did like the shadow that the scissors created as it was cutting the paper.

I have no idea what that little white string like thing is running over the top of the scissors. I think a spider started a web while I was trying to get the shot. Smile.
Clever

The nice thing about this sort of project is how we become more competent almost by osmosis... this is a great step along the way.

This is awesome! If you will look closely you will see that that’s a light flare on the top of those scissors which makes it so impressive! I don’t know how in the world you managed to get those scissors to stand up like that. this is fabulous and a FAV

I love it. It’s amazing how losing the color makes such a simple thing look new and surreal. Nicely done.

Very clever indeed Henri, I had to study it closely just to see how it was achieved, must admit that bright white cross really helps the image, fancy admitting you don't know were it came from should have left us guessing, fav:)

@grammyn Thanks, Katy. I see the light flare now. Why couldn't I see that before? I could have said it was intentional. Ha Ha.

@pcoulson You are right. I should have said it was intentional. Smile.

@vignouse Thank you, Richard. Any compliment from you means a lot to me. You are the master of black and white images.

the little white string thing on the scissors is the flare of the light hitting the metal. :-)

Nicely captured

Your pictures are not getting worse! This is really cool- it almost looks like a mirror image but the scissors prove it's not. The white "thing" is not a spider web or string- it's a light flare which is not easy to do on something like a pair of scissors!

@olivetreeann Thanks, Ann. That is what I've been told. I don't know why I didn't see that before.
