The bushfires persist ......

A thick smoke cover and water bombers a constant feature in the sky today.
Thank you for viewing my cloud album, comments are always appreciated.
Oh wow how eerie is this. Is this a result of the fires at Wallangarra and Tabulam?

@onewing We have fires very close to Stanthorpe Babs, Wallangarra and Girraween.Yesterday saw an evacuation from approx 20 km away. The water bombers were really busy today but the smoke is very dense. I believe the wind direction will change tomorrow with hot conditions. I am pleased to be living in town now. :)

@hermann I saw on the news about the fire at Wallangarra and it is massive. Hope they don't get too close to you. The smoke is the killer isn't it. I know when we had fires near here, we choked with the smoke.

Such eerie light, so sorry to hear about the bush fires, such a beautiful area. Between the floods in Townsville and the fires down your way the East Coast doesn't seem able to win a trick at present. Stay safe.
