100 mph gusts came through on the 29th and took down several trees and have left us without electricity until about the 5th of July. Since the heat wave is still on we are staying in a motel tonight with air conditioning and I am on a borrowed computer. Will be back asap. Best Viewed Large

Harry, I hope you get through this all right! We've been gone from Cincinnati but dealing with the heat in Atlanta. My daughter has been watching our house, so I'm hoping all is well there!
We're having an unusually bad early Summer here in Wales, but it's nothing compared to the extended downpours that are happening in some parts of Britain. It looks as if we're not alone! Keep safe, Harry!
Oh, Harry... I thought about you when I heard about those storms and was wondering how you were faring. Good luck with geting things back to normal soon...
Great capture, Harry .... so sorry to hear about the storms and loss of electricity. Happy to hear that you are safe .... that's the most important thing.
What is with this weather? we more or less in a continues heat wave..very little to no rain and other places it won't stop raining..now you experience this huge storm...good idea to stay somewhere where you have airconditioning. I hope you haven't lost too many trees ..that would be ashamed.
@lyno Thank you Lyn, it was quite a storm, but they promise we will have a electric by Thursday @kerristephens Thank you Kerri, that was my comment when I woke up and looked outside @rhos Thank you Ann, they say we are entering a cycle of severe storms @kimmistephens Thank you Kimmi, only property got damaged in our town, which we are thankful for
@mstipe Thank you Michelle, I am pretty good on doing that for weather events, other things not so much :) @sangwann Thank you Dione, the only problem now is the heat, we are in our 5th day of 90+ heat @marydreams Thank you Mary, just power off and cleaning up the yard, we are thankful for @beautifulthing Thank you Shelly, messes I can clean up, but it cuts into my photography time :)
@marilyn Thank you Marilyn, we even made the WEATHER Channel, luckly it was only property that got damaged @karenann Thank you Karen, I agree, everything else is secondary @cscecil Thank you Carolyn, we will, once electric comes back it will give us something to talk about :)
Hope all gets better soon. This weather has been so strange. We burned up and dried up in Texa last year. This year we have only had a few days of 100 plus so far.
@grannysue Thank you Linda, at home they are having the longest 90+ days in a row we have had in years and without electric, I am glad we are on vacation
Aw man...I hope your power is back on. I echo what you said....let's hope this heat breaks soon! That was around here in Penn? Somehwo I thought we escaped the huge winds, but then I may have been up in NY. :-/
