smoke iii

After yesterdays fiasco of not having a smoking candle, as per suggestions, went out a bought some incense sticks. We got Jasmine since it came in a green pack. After taking over 100 photos, I am putting my favorites up. Suggestions on how to improve them are very welcome.

No suggestions for improvement here... I really like this one! It kind of reminds me of a calla lily and I think the composition is great. :)

i agree with @marilyn - this is really nice and well composed. what did you use for a light source? if you want more contrast, you can definitely do that in post, but i kind of like the low contrast.

@guaranteed I'll go along here. More light possibly or more contrast to really have the smoke pop out I think.

@marilyn Thank you Marilyn, it was fun setting it up
@guaranteed Thank you, I used two external lights that came with a lightbox and bounced the flash off the ceiling
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri, I am still learning on this one

@phillyphotos Thank you Paula, yes, she did like it.
@webfoot Thank you Paul, I agree I have to better place the lights on the smoke and not bleed on to the background.
@swguevin Thank you Shelia, it was mostly just a thin stream, I tried putting on the overhead fan but that was to much.
