My get pushed challenge this week from Angelia was: show us mathematics at work in the everyday world.
The upper right is the Mandelbrot Set (fractals), the upper left is an example of a Fibonacci sequence, and the lower portion I have used in teaching mathematics in explaining indirect proof
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
