Beached Sailboat

While driving out to the Chatham Light on Cape Cod, we spotted this sail boat beached

Mmmm...that doesn't look like a good situation, but I guess if it has a removable keel, they did it on purpose. Makes for a terrific image, though.

It looks a bit big to have a removable keel but it doesn't look as if it had been battered and beached by a storm!
