While we were in New Zealand, they had been experiencing a drought and this tree reminded me of the 'Lone Cyprus' in northern California and the hills of a drought we had when Gail and I lived in Livermore, CA thirty years ago.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
