Happy Easter! by homeschoolmom

Happy Easter!

My kids colored Easter eggs Saturday night, and we put the ones that they didn't eat into this basket for display. I'm sure they won't last long.
The colors really jump out! Happy Easter to you.

What a lovely picture. My siblings and I did this when we were young and then joined the other village children rolling them down the hill. According to my mum it was once called pace egging. It seems this comes from the Old English Pasch. I think that looks remarkably like the Pesach the Hebrew for Passover

Hello Get Pushed partner. I looked at your pictures yesterday, and today thought about it, and decided to challenge you to an abstract pattern picture.

@olivetreeann My mother-in-;law said they hadn't dyed eggs in 20 years. First time we'd been there for Easter. Usually we got to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
@susale Thanks.
