One of my favorite subjects to photograph....

One of my favorite subjects to photograph is my cat Hobbs. I've been taking pictures of him for more than 17 years. The bottom right picture was taken in early September 1996, our first "baby!" The top center was probably taken 10 years ago, it's Hobbs doing his impersonation of the St. Louis Arch, back when we lived outside of St. Louis! I tried to find a picture of him with the kids when they were little, but couldn't find one I liked (probably because he didn't much like them when they were little. They were too loud and and hugged him too hard, so he stayed away from them if he could! LOL!). The top right, I took as a Get Pushed challenge last winter to photograph one of my kids. Bottom center was for a macro challenge. The top left was taken two years ago after Hobbs realized that Spencer's shoulders were wide enough to ride on! But, I think my favorite all time picture of him is the bottom left. Taken at least 7 years ago (maybe longer) when we weighed 14 pounds. We call it our Monster Cat Statue, because he had quite the reputation of being a monster when he was younger. LOL!
Lovely collage of him, some nice family shots with him too. He looks a huge cat.

@homeschoolmom Yes I meant the length, amazing stretch. His colouring is lovely.

@jennywren He's nearly 4 feet long when he stretches out like that. His tail is easily 18 inches long.

This is so very nice! I love that you have a wee baby kitten photo, and that he's still around in your life as an elder statesman. The arch pose is wonderful...obviously he trusts his humans completely. Love it!
