My Get Pushed challenge this week is to take a white on white photo. Very challenging, but I think the answer is to use lots of light and watch for shadows (as you can see, I wasn't really successful at that part). By editing in RAW, I can control the color and make s sure it doesn't look blue or yellow.
Here's yesterday's attempt "gone bad!" LOL! http://365project.org/homeschoolmom/favorites/2014-07-22
You'd probably have to have light coming from all angles on this piece in order to take it without shadows. But I think you've done an excellent job and the small amount of shadow does not bother me one bit.
It is not easy, as you lots of light and hit all the angles with it, hopefully without causing other shadows. Was this the same rose from the teapot shot?
@lynnilou Thanks! @sianipops Thanks! It was definitely harder keeping it white and still showing the detail. When I colorized it, the detail popped. But, it's really just white.
@sarasdadandmom @mittens @pflaume @joemuli @appsie Thanks!
@zosimasy Well, I was trying for as little shadow as possible, just the white. I guess some shadow is OK, depends on what you are going for, I guess.
@dh Thanks! I had my camera on the macro setting. That helps.
