Duck, duck, GEESE!

My experience with geese are that they can be quite mean, but these two almost walked up to me. I guess they are used to being fed by people. But, they did keep me from getting a better picture of the two duck families swimming on the pond.

@susale They are beautiful, but they will often chase you and bite you!
@joansmor I know! LOL! Last summer and fall, I couldn't find any birds anywhere (except for crows and vultures). Now they are everywhere! LOL!
@bill_fe Unfortunately, I didn't have my good zoom for this shot. I was using my cell phone, so I was standing about 3 feet from them.

@paulaw Thanks! When we lived in Indianapolis, IN, there were Canada geese everywhere. They were always nasty. Guess geese don't like city life! LOL!

I remember being pecked viciously by a goose once. I am always cautious with them now. These ones look quite affable.
