Moon, but no Mars!

I saw one post that said you should be able to see Mars at 12:30 a.m. this morning. However, I forgot to go out and look. But, almost 9 p.m. when I took this picture, I could not see Mars (but it was a little cloudy).

@olivetreeann That might be the case. The post I saw said 12:30 a.m. on the 27th, but people often don't get that after midnight is the next day!

I looked up the moon/mars thing today on the internet and I don't know how the info got out, but apparently it's a hoax. They are both in the sky but nowhere near each other and Mars is far less visible, so don't go crazy trying to find it tonight because it won't be there tonight either!
