After what seems like weeks of packing and prepping, my daughter has left for college. I am going to have to mail some stuff to her because she had to take some stuff out of her bag to make room for her hair dryer and pillow. Thankfully, Southwest Airlines gave us a break and didn't charge us for two oversized bags. Smart girl packed her stuff in her dad's big Army bags.
@hjbenson@randystreat Thanks! @maggiemae I have only been away from her a few times for a week at a time. I must say, letting them leave the nest is very hard. @paulaw Thanks. @danette Me either. But, it was nearly 1000 miles one way to drive there...in the winter. We would have been on the road a week to take her up there. I will have to mail her some stuff next week, but she got most of her stuff there in their luggage. At least one of those giant bags is nothing but her hair care products! LOL!
