My Get Pushed challenge this week was to take a macro shot of an insect. Easy right? Wrong. It's like al the insects disappeared because I needed a picture of them. I went to a spot where I shot tons of bees the other day, but even there, the bugs were scarce. I got this one, although at first I thought it was a hummingbird. Took me forever to figure out what it was - it's a hummingbird hawk moth, no wonder I thought it was a hummingbird!
@grammyn@joansmor@olivetreeann I was shooting from about 20 feet away so I didn't scare them off. But, from that distance, I really thought it was a hummingbird. There were two of them around that plant and they were the size of my thumb.
