Illinois is part of the Bread Basket of America. The prairie states grow much of our corn, wheat and soybeans.

@skippysue It's spring wheat growing. Soon it will turn brown and they'll harvest it. Usually they will then plant soybeans in the same field. Corn is planted in early April and isn't harvested until October.
