Water and pizza donations by homeschoolmom

Water and pizza donations

I have been busy, busy, busy! I have three big events coming up that are taking up all of my time. Today, I picked up 4 cases of water and vouchers for 30 pizzas from local businesses. Yesterday, I dropped off letters to about 20 different businesses asking for donations for our Boy Scout Merit Badge event we are hosting. Now my phone is ringing off the hook. Thankfull for a community that supports our kids.
So many people are helping these sorts of events and I admire the work they do voluntarily!

@maggiemae Absolutely. We do it, because our kids are involved. But, so many people are teaching merit badges whose kids are no longer in Scouts or never were in scouts, just because they enjoy doing it.

Awesome! It's really great when a town rallies around the youth. Ours is pretty good about it too.
