Magnolia in the rain

I got wet taking this picture. Sad that you can't really see any raindrops on the flower. Too many leaves, I guess.

Interesting to see the one petal like an umbrella over the center and the debris in the cupped petal below.

@randystreat I'm not sure what all that debris is. It comes off the center. They aren't seeds. That center is a big pod, called a fruit. It will ripen in late summer and drop red seeds that look like shiny kidney beans.
