Friday, Seamus was sick and didn't eat breakfast or lunch. But he seemed fine by dinner. Yesterday, we noticed that he had a bone in the backyard (a fenced in backyard) - a bone we didn't give him. Neither neighbor gave him the bone. So, we spent 4 hours at an all-night emergency vet clinic. They tested his blood, and it clotted slowly, which means the bone was laced with rat poison. He seems fine, but they gave him Vitamin K to take for a month. ADT is coming Tuesday to put cameras around our house in case they try to come back. We have no idea why they did it, if they were just trying to make him sick, or they just didn't realize how big he really is (about 95 pounds), or if the rain washed away some of the poison.
