Paintball: Pain and Perspiration! by homeschoolmom

Paintball: Pain and Perspiration!

My boys went with the church youth group to play paintball this morning. My older son came home covered in paint, although you can's see it on his dark clothes. My younger son didn't have very much paint on him, but he had three big bruises, including one on the side of his chest, from where the paintballs didn't break open when they hit him. It was 100 degrees again today, so they came home soaking wet, covered in paint and dirt, and smelling pretty bad....but, they had a great time!
Well, it looks like fun, something I have always wanted to do, but to see that welt, ouchers!!! Great shots and collage.

@susanalena It's a lot of fun, but you can expect to get some bruises from the paintballs that don't break. My older son has a terrible bruise on his shoulder, where he took a hit to the bony part of his shoulder.
@randystreat Thanks!

My sons and their friends would get together and play paintball on someone's large tract of land. It was like war games! But they had a blast (hah- no pun intended!) with it. Well, I guess the welts are sort of a badge of courage or survival!

@olivetreeann Yes, that's exactly what they do. Except they went to a Paintball range where they could rent the guns and face masks. They all loved it, even the adults.
