I was taking pictures of the lake while waiting for the Cub Scout crossover ceremony to begin when one of the dads yelled down to me, "do you see that snake swimming on the lake!" No, I didn't. I got a few pictures of it swimming on the water. I think it's a black rat snake. Cottonmouths don't have a white belly, so I think we're safe.
