This was a common site in southern Illinois. Lots of tractors and combines on the roads, some were so big they covered both lanes and had to drive onto the shoulder when a car came in the other direction. My favorite was the tractor with the giant wheels to go between the rows of corn, because you could see under it to know when it was safe to pass it.
