So we got to our hotel in old historic Alexandria at 5 p.m. and my husband left for a old guys' version of a bachelor party a half hour later. So, I was on my own for the evening. Our hotel was on a very busy street, just a few blocks up from the Potomac River, so all the restaurants were expensive and packed full of people. I didn't want to wait 2 hours to eat dinner, so that left Five Guy hamburgers, Subway sandwiches or Sushi. I made a good choice. The sushi was very good, although a little salty. And the plum wine was really good.
