Hand at work

Today, I went to the quilt shop to use their long arm quilting machine. I quilted three quilts today. This is one of the quilt tops my grandmother made more than 40 years. My sister thinks my great-grandmother might have helped with this one, since it's a difficult pattern - hexagon bowtie.
I'd love to learn how to use one of those things some day. ...I need to make more quilts first though!

How nice they have one you can use. I have hand quilted one and know how much work that is.

@aikiuser This quilt shop has a class to learn how to use the machine, then you can rent it for $18/hour. It's a lot of fun.

@homeschoolmom Cool! That's a great way to do it, I'll keep it in mind and check out our local shops when the time comes--thanks!
