Signs of Spring on a Winter Day

Winter has been rather cold for us this year with more snow than usual, so it's odd to find my hyacinths growing already. Typically, we don't start seeing them until mid-February. And, it's below freezing today.

I noticed mine are peeping through the ground. A little early I think! Let’s hope they make it till spring!
