@777margo They still plant it all over the Southern US. Tobacco and cotton are really about the only things that will grow here. It's dry, hot and soil is either orange clay or all sand in our area. I can't even get good grass to grow in my yard.

@henrir You can't really tell from this picture, but the mounds are about a foot high.
