Belk had a big charity sale this morning. I bought a $5 ticket from the Boy Scouts, which Belk took off my total when I checked out. I got a $5 (my daughter got a $10) gift certificate for being the first 100 at the store, as we arrived just before 6 a.m. They were having a huge sale of band name items, and even more off for the charity sale. I got a shirt and vest for me, 5 shirts for my husband, 2 shirts for my son, a pair of jeans for my son, an overnight roller bag for my daughter and 3 mugs for $210, saving over $300. And, the Boy Scouts got to keep the money from the tickets they sold. Fun event. Enjoyed it, even though I had to get up super early. Better than Black Friday! LOL!
