In honor of the 43rd Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, this flag was presented to the city this afternoon in a ceremony honoring local Vietnam Veterans.
It just does not seem like that was over 40 years ago! I'm glad we're honoring the men and women who served there now. They certainly didn't get their due when they came home then.
