Japanese beetles on a crepe myrtle

Japanese beetles are eating my little crepe myrtle.

Wow...we have 5 crepe myrtle trees but I haven't seen one of these beetles, thank goodness...or they are easier to see against the white. Mine are light pink and the dark pink.
