Railroad House, circa 1872 by homeschoolmom

Railroad House, circa 1872

My Get Pushed challenge this week was to photograph an old building in my area. I have taken tons of photos of this building. I just love it. It's the Railroad House, which sits along the railroad tracks that run through downtown Sanford. It's a Gothic Revival cottage built for the first depot agent for the Raleigh and Augusta Railroad line. The house was moved to its present location in 1962 and converted for use as the offices of the Sanford-Lee County Chamber of Commerce. It now serves as a museum containing hundreds of interesting artifacts.
@fbailey Here's one of my pics for your challenge.
