Antiqued magnolia

I had to Google magnolias to see just how long the flowers last. Turns out, they only last about 24 hours because of the heat. This one must be close to that, as it is brown, but still beautiful.

Beautiful pic. Somehow the shapes of petals and leaves are more apparent when the blossom doesn't stand out so much becsuse it's white.

I thought of you ladt night - we tried Forbidden Root Beer, which may be the only commercial botanical brewery in the US, and one of their brews was a chocolate stout also flavored with magnolia.

Great idea. I do like the "antique" color of the magnolia. I over look this phase of the blossom. Nice capture.

These petals appear to be in perfect shape, just a little tanned. The flower is quite beautiful. Good eye. I would probably have just passed it by as being "dead"
