The other day, I noticed that some beautiful yellow gladiolas had bloomed in the landscaping on the side of my house. But, before I could take a picture of them, we had a bad storm and they were broken off in the wind. Must have been a worse storm than I thought, because a loose board on the fence around the trashcans fell on my gladiolas. Boo!
