Oh, the sadness! by homeschoolmom

Oh, the sadness!

My Get Pushed challenge this week was to produce a photographic interpretation of a piece of music, Nimrod from the enigma variations) by Elgar.
This is a beautiful piece of music, however, it just felt very sad to me, like it would be used in a movie to enhance a very sad moment. This is why I thought this photo of the burned comics would work well with the song. Our local comic book store burned down Sunday afternoon. The owners lost their business, their home and everything they owned. The building is completely gone, but the comics still remain.
Here's the link to the song, if anyone wants to listen: https://soundcloud.com/clarice-assad/nimrod-elgar-from-enigma
@zshadowwalker Here's one attempt at your challenge. I'm hoping to get to my other idea today or tomorrow.

The photo along with the story is quite sad. I hope they are ok.

@homeschoolmom The Photo is quite fitting with the Music. Hopefully the owners will be able to recover from the incident.
Nimrod is used over here at times in much the same way as Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber is used across the big pond.

Wow- that is so sad. How devastating for them. This picture really has all of that in it- even without the reference to the music.
