Turning in his Eagle Project for approval by homeschoolmom

Turning in his Eagle Project for approval

Well, my son has worked for months on planning for his Eagle Scout project, encountering one problem after another (everything from the PDF-filler program only saving the first line of all the fields he filled out, to the food pantry employee we worked with went to another job, so he had to meet and get approval from the new person, to his project coordinator being out of town for the past month). Tonight he went to turn in his project paperwork for approval, only to find out the form we downloaded from the council website is old (probably because he's been working on it since April or May). So, they provisionally approved his project, and now he has to transfer all the info over to the new form. Good grief. Good thing he isn't one of those kids who waited until a few months before his 18th birthday to work on his project. I think we are going to need the whole 18 months to get all the paperwork done, as paperwork isn't his strong suit. Well, at least when he goes to his Eagle Board of Review and they asked him about any difficulties he had during his Eagle project, he'll have a lot to tell them! For some reason, they like for them to experience difficulties and have to overcome them.
Congratulations to your son. Nice memories.
