Most of the scouts in my painting merit badge class were from the same troop (mostly Egyptian immigrants), which was helpful when two of the younger boys started getting a little grumpy with each other. The scout wearing the mask moved one to set in between then looked at me and said, "Go ahead, I'll take care of him." And later when that young scout acted up again, the scout in the camo shirt said something in Arabic to him, which quieted him down again. Did I mention I had two step brothers, also younger scouts, get into a fist fight during this class last year? Yes, I think it's my last year to teach this merit badge! LOL! Thank goodness for older scouts who take their leadership roles seriously.
Sounds like they are all wanting to do it on their own. Maybe they need a small item each but then they wouldn't learn team work would they? Glad it's not me teaching them :)
