Pied Wagtail

Saw this young Pied Wagtail today. If you look closely, he has a tasty morsel in his beak.

Thanks for looking.

They are such dear little birds - at first I thought this had snow on the ground but then I realised that it is water. Great shot and a Fav

Beautiful (missed this one somehow!) Fav. Which lens do you use with your EOS for your birds? I've just borrowed my son's EOS but with just standard lens.

@mejbronant, Hi Mair, i'm lucky to have the 100-400L. It is a bit heavy but worth it for the results. Many thanks.

What a fantastic photo, Hudd. No wonder your photos are so clear and detailed, you have a wonderful camera and lens to use. I traded all of mine in years ago and got one camera I wanted. Wish I had kept it, was film but I know people still shooting with film and of course a tripod. You did use a tripod? FAV

@darsphotos, Thanks Darlene, I hardley ever use a tripod, this shot was taken from a hide, so I was able to rest the lens on the window edge.
