An unexpected present from my wonderful other half.
This is a Qwerkywriter bluetooth mechanical keyboard. I looked at buying one last year for writing on my iPad but decided it was too expensive for a 'toy'. Unbeknownst to me, the OH joined the Kickstarter for the v2 model. It arrived yesterday - complete with bill for import duty...
It makes an awesome sound - it's so darn satisfying to use. It has carriage-return and everything. :)
I don't usually go for selective colour, but this would be just black, white and red if I had more control over the shooting environment so I went with it here. I think it works.

PS -- just looked this up as I'm totally envying you it -- a VERY nice present to have gotten! Will add it to my wish list but it will have to be a present I suspect...
@taffy It's aimed at tablets as they rest in the "typewriter paper slot". It connects via Bluetooth and has instructions for iOS, MacOS, Android and Windows. The manual does mention a wired USB mode, which I assume means it can act like a standard USB keyboard, but I haven't tried it. Let me know if you want me to - it would be on Windows though. I don't have a Mac.
