Stretched Scanbo by humphreyhippo

Stretched Scanbo

I've just started the Introduction to Scanography course on Lynda.com.
This is the best result from my first play with my Epson scanner. The objective was to determine how much depth of field it has (quite a bit), what its default 'empty background' colour is (grey) and generally just mess around with the software.
This is an in-camera (???) stretch achieved by letting the scanner run past Danbo's head and then pulling him down at the same rate as the scanner bar until the end of the glass.

I'll apologise in advance for the future consequences of this course - I get the impression it's going to be a bumpy ride. ;)
I think I’m going to quite enjoy the results of your experimentations 🤓

@northy It does feel a bit like the process is "throw everything at it and see what sticks". Buckle up. ;)

My goodness .... he is stretched waaaay out! I'm so impressed when people can work with software to achieve various results. It will be fun to follow along.
