Deep Wrinkles

Day 17 of Sculpt January 2021.
Today's prompt is Deep Wrinkles.
First real gratuitous use of the stamp alpha brush in Nomad.
Sculpted whilst watching the Caps NHL game and rendered in Blender as usual.
Took forever to get the head shape even vaguely passable!
I love him! Do you draw the shapes freehand? Or do you have a stencil or something to guide you?

@northy You start with primitives - basic building block shapes in the app. He started as a sphere which I pulled the trunk out of. The ears where disc-like thin cylinders which I pulled into shape and then joined to the head. A lot of the initial stages are pulling it around with the move brush. After that you add/remove “clay” with clay strips and crease brushes. The surface creases are done with alpha brushes which work exactly like Photoshop brush alphas only pulling out the clay where the stencil is white.

I love your explanations of how you get to the end product. Quite impressive (again).
