Looking up for inspiration

So today I had a huge argument with both of my children that I left the house to go and cool off. The wind was windy and the snow was biting at my face. I looked up to try and get some inspiration and there it was...a tree in a storm. It has been snowing all day, storming all day, both inside and out (storming that is). After the walk I found my two in the snow building an igloo...it is in my Sweden album. I stayed there and built with them, we made up, became friends again and had fun. I suppose the big man upstairs took pity on me and made us all make up again.

Thought of the day:
If you find yourself getting mad, go for a walk, cool off and try and get some calming inspiration from somewhere. And NEVER go to bed angry!
What a terrific image. Fav. Good you all spent happy time together in the snow.

We all get times like that... I guess we feel battered (like the tree) and need a while to redress the balance :) Love the tree, textures, pov and all.

Go for a walk to calm down is always the best solution you’re right !

Ooof - one of those days! I remember the joy of realising when the kids were being a nightmare I could shut myself in my room with a book rather than trying to get them to stay in their rooms. It freaked them out when they were little - they hated me ignoring them so I didn’t get far through my book but it worked.

@cocobella have to remind myself all the time
@judithg luckily as they get older the horribleness goes over quickly. I spied on them from the forest after my walk...lol Pretended to be a moose

@quietpurplehaze a very long way up! When it is stormy these trees really sway in the wind. I am surprised they don't just snap in half!
