I love this quote...it makes me think back to many years ago when I was going through my divorce ...and sometimes the only good thing I could find about a day was a song on the radio! I came across this quote yesterday and then went hunting through my photos searching for one I could put with it to make a poster. I actually took this shot last spring while sitting on the deck of one of my favorite go-to restaurants when I'm in the mood for shrimp...and now that I say that I just might have to visit them again this weekend!
I know I shouldn't be posting an old photo like this, but you know I'm struggling to finish my year 2, so hopefully no one will mind too much...and for those who follow me on FaceBook...yep, it's there today too :-]
That's super. When I was going through that awful process/time someone gave me a bookmark which said 'may I never miss a rainbow or a sunset because I'm looking down' - thought that was apt, and love your quote/pic too... so peaceful
@filsie65 Oh,Phil, I love that quote too! @stownsend And Suzie, that was so long ago now that it no longer effects my perspective on very much...well, except I do still have "trust" issues ;-) @marlboromaam Glad I'm not the only one grabbing an older photo every so often...but I promise I will always own up to it when I do it!
I don't care how old the photo is, as long as you are posting. Love the quote and the shot. You have come a long way since that divorce, way to go girl.
