Subterranean Underground River

I spent the US Independence Day Weekend in Palawan and I will never forget to visit this famous underground river. And I will be featuring Palawan in my project this week.

Palawan Underground River is located in Puerto Prinsesa. It is a mountain full of limestones. Once you go inside you will bats flying and different formation of stalactites and stalagmites which shows different art created by nature. It was declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Subterranean Underground River is also one of the finalist for New 7 Wonders of Nature. You may vote by logging on to www.new7wonders.com
