Photos like this are so powerful. Whenever I see them I just wish I would have the personal resources to wipe out such devastation, especially for the younger population.
ah, we see this everyday (in the Philippines). it is so rampant that it has numbed people into thinking there's nothing wrong with it. until you see one like this posted here, and then you think about the state of things and realize that this is just the tip of the poverty iceberg. and suddenly things aren't as normal as they seem.
i don't think there is really something wrong here..He is only trying to live life in a decent,hard and. honest way than selling or doing drugs.The thing that breaks my heart is that i ,sometimes do not appreciate how much blessed i am.Thanks for reminding me.So emotional-touching picture.Btw,how much are those "balut"?
agree with joe.. eventhough there are underprivileged folks out here.. I admire those who work for a living and do their best just like this boy.. great shot Dennis..
