Black & White

The last order already in this august month by Word of the Day is Black and White. On the picture you can see the old dustbin of my parents. What a little waste we had then! Nowadays we already have at least 3 large plastic bins to dispose of all the waste separately. Each bin is much larger than this small waste bin where everything fits.

Ja, inderdaad, jammer dat we tegenwoordig zoveel afval hebben eigenlijk.

Ja, dat zet je toch aan het denken... wij zamelen alles apart in hier, maar met deze oude vuilnis bak zou je echt niet meer toekomen vandaag de dag... we hebben in 1 of 2 weken alleen deze bak al nodig voor het plastic lijkt het wel... alles zit verpakt, dan nog eens verpakt en dan nog een zak of een doos eromheen... waarom nog steeds zoveel plastic?

Very true. In those days nothing was wasted. And they had no freezers for keeping food for long or garages/sheds to keep unwanted things until the opportunity comes to use them or parts of them.

De onze staat bij onze zoon op het balkon. (Met een plant er in.)
Ze proberen het hier te minderen door ???? je per ophaalbeurt te laten betalen.
